The unique plant is a sun worshipper that dots the mountain slopes and highlands with its blue-violet hue. Once gathered, its roots are dried for months in large jute bags, exuding soft, captivating emanations. Its memorable scent made such an impression on the perfumer that he wished to interpret it as the incomparable Iris Perfume.
