Name of the new crystal master piece is "Deux Paons" (two peacocks) and is inspired by grace and seductive colors of these birds' feathers.
Each luxurious flacon presented by the house of Lalique is in close connection with Rene Lalique's work and this time details from powder case and jewelry created by Lalique were used. "Rene Lalique was famous for highlighting central part of his flacons with special decorations and effects." The aim was to attract and maintain the attention. However, in the year of 1909 Lalique broke his rule with creations for Coty – perfume flacon of Cyclamen, and then flacon for L. T. Piver - Scarabee, and had a dramatic finish with a flacon from 1912 for prominent violet perfume – Niobe. Esthetic power of design inspired Lalique Creative Studio to create and present a new, 2014 limited edition, with particular purity and luminous surfaces which enable to see color of liquid through the whole body of the bottle, while accent lies on sides and stopper."On the new edition Lalique Deux Paons - as a symbol of pride and frivolity two peacocks were featured on the stopper, elegantly putting their beaks together. Sculptural details on the body of the bottle symbolizing feathers are made of sandblasted glass, while the central crystal colored part is polished. Timeless composition of Lalique de Lalique combines unbeatable elegance of Lalique and feminine notes. Floral top notes are composed of a gracious sweet bouquet of Bulgarian rose, jasmine, currant buds and powdery iris. At the heart lie fruits of wild blackberries, blackberry leaves and juicy pear, leading to a woody and soft base of sandalwood, amber, vanilla and white musk.Lalique Deux Paons 2014 Limited Edition will be available as 100ml Extrait de Parfum at the price of 1200 EUR. The perfume arrives in a special coffret colored in white, set on a throne. It was introduced in October 2013.
