The fragrance is out from September 2012.“Pink Friday is a celebration of my life at this moment; it is a reflection of me as a creator, and an expression of me as a woman. I know my Barbz (that’s how she calls her fans) will connect with and appreciate each aspect – from the name, to the outrageous bottle design, to the vibrant colors that create their own song. Pink Friday shows off my personality and style; it’s exciting to express my voice through another dimension,” says Nicki. “I was involved in every aspect of the decision-making process – it seems easy because I always get this feeling inside: I know if something is right or wrong. Each detail needs to ‘wow’ me or it is not an option; that’s my way of composing perfection.”The scent is an intoxicating floral - musky one as it mixes playful fruity notes, pink flower petals, creamy vanilla, musk and woods. It opens with juicy notes of star fruit, Italian mandarin, and a blackberry and raspberry hybrid called boysenberry. Lotus and starry jasmine petals are in the heart, while the base consists of caramelized pear, vanilla, musk and woody notes. The bottle appearance is something like the bust of Nikki herself, consisting of the torso and the head with the famous pink wig. It is designed by Lance McGregor of Paul Meyers and Friends. The fragrance is available as 50 and 100 ml Eau de Parfum with 200 ml body lotion and 150 ml of hair mist.Note: Perfume review pages are designed for essays or posts that give a critical evaluation of a fragrance you have smelled, know and have formed an opinion of, based on your own experience. Buying advice in plain language

If you are deciding on Pink Friday, start with wear context instead of hype. Ask where you will use it most: office, casual daytime, or evening social settings. That single choice filters almost every buying decision because freshness, sweetness, and projection read very differently depending on environment.

Then use this page in three steps. First, scan the notes and accord profile to understand the scent direction. Second, check longevity and projection hints to estimate how it may behave on your skin. Third, open one or two comparisons to see trade-offs against similar perfumes. This avoids buying a fragrance that is good in isolation but wrong for your routine.

A practical shortlist is one signature scent plus one contrast option from the same brand family. That gives flexibility without over-collecting. If Pink Friday fits your use case, sample first and compare it with one related option below before committing to a full bottle.
