Overview

Oh! The Origin by Tous is a Floral Fruity fragrance for women.Oh! The Originwas launched in 2018. The nose behind this fragrance is Daphné Bugey. Top notes are Tangerine, Lemon, Pink Pepper and Black Currant; middle notes are Rose and Orris; base notes are Ambroxan, Musk, Vanilla and Tonka Bean."I imagined a woman seduced by the sheer magnetism of the masculine fragrance. I chose to combine roses, which embody romance, with orris, a more elegant key component of the fragrance, which is an iconic duo in classic perfumery. With an irresistible appeal, the floral notes emerge through a fresh and bright fruit cocktail: tangerines, lemons and blackcurrants. The seduction then reaches its more sensual notes with the warm allure of waves of vanilla, musk, tonka beans and ambrox. The masculine and feminine editions complement each other. These loving fragrances share a positive characteristic which is represented by a touch of pink pepper in both fragrances. Both fragrances also have a shared taste for sophisticated elegance, through a type of seduction which leads to the distinctive, high quality notes of ambrox." - perfumer Daphné Bugey

Buying advice in plain language

If you are deciding on Oh! The Origin, start with wear context instead of hype. Ask where you will use it most: office, casual daytime, or evening social settings. That single choice filters almost every buying decision because freshness, sweetness, and projection read very differently depending on environment.

Then use this page in three steps. First, scan the notes and accord profile to understand the scent direction. Second, check longevity and projection hints to estimate how it may behave on your skin. Third, open one or two comparisons to see trade-offs against similar perfumes. This avoids buying a fragrance that is good in isolation but wrong for your routine.

A practical shortlist is one signature scent plus one contrast option from the same brand family. That gives flexibility without over-collecting. If Oh! The Origin fits your use case, sample first and compare it with one related option below before committing to a full bottle.
